| NCHES scholarships are available
to all members in good standing, who actively participate in the NCHES
Association (attends a minimum of 3 meetings per 12 month period) a
scholarship up to $1,000.00. Applicants
must submit the required information to the Scholarship Selection
Committee no later than April 1 of each year.
The award will be presented at the NCHES Annual Conference
Luncheon. The
Scholarship Selection Committee shall return to the applicant a tentative
approval for the scholarship award.
Upon receipt of the registered and / or paid course the recipient
will be given a check in the amount of the course and up to $200 for books
and lab fees, not to exceed a total of $1,000.00.
The award shall be available for one year from the date of the
award and applicants may reapply in subsequent years.
The scholarship must be used in an accredited institution of higher
learning, professional certification program or a continuing educational
program, in the field of engineering. |
