Scholarship Requirements

1.  Scholarship applications will be available from the web-site and at General Meetings.  Applications must be completed and submitted no later than April 1 of that year.  

2.      Applicant will need to submit a copy of a current transcript (if applicable).  

3.      Applicant will submit a summary describing their educational goals, career interests, community and / or volunteer experience and financial need if applicable.  Please include a description of NCHES participation in the past 12 months.  

4.      Applicants will submit two letters of recommendation, one of which should be from their employer or education advisor.

 5.      All of the above will be submitted in 3 copies to the NCHES Treasurer in a sealed envelope marked for the “Scholarship Selection Committee”.
